The elevator to success is out of order. You'll have to use the stairs, one step at a time

I really enjoyed the ecochallenge this year. I didn't get to all of my challenges, but I did hit quite a few and I learned a lot of new things. I really tried to focus on me this year.

More focused on whole meals not processed. Staying off computer after work. Asking myself do I need it or do I want it.

I didn't think about this until I read somebody else's comment but replacing your shower head with more efficient one is a great way to save on water!

Using a reusable lunch box rather than paper bags will help reduce waste. If a food item needs to be wrapped, avoid cling wrap and opt for more environmentally friendly wrapping materials like beeswax.

I love my lunch boxes! It's a way to show your personality. I have so many, I actually had to sell some this summer in a garage sale they were starting to get a bit out of hand.

Think it's cool to volunteer at your local food bank to help people. For my local food bank, after we package the products, we get informed about how many families we have helped!

Michael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this assertion?

Pay the farmer, the grocer and if need be the Doctor.

You can limit your household food waste by portioning your meals reasonably, only buying what you need and using food waste as fertilizer for soil and plants.
