Cultivating Communities Practice a Sharing Economy
What benefits does the sharing economy offer to you and others? If you are a little shy to try, what could be a first step for you?

The sharing economy offers a great way to keep usable items in circulation while savings money. We just purchased my 11 month old son a slightly used Patagonia winter jacket from Facebook marketplace as someone in town had it for sale. It was probably 1/5 of the price, was practically new, and we didn't have to worry about him growing out of it in a month or two, which is very likely. We constantly receive and give away kids clothing and toys with friends and family, avoiding excess resource consumption and waste, and saving purchasing costs and efforts.

I listened to the BBC Earth Podcast. It was titled the desert rocks that "sing". It was about these really big boulders in the desert that have alot of hollows that "sing" when you beat it with a stick.  These rocks were around for many many years.

There are so many homeless/ hungry people out there. Being able to provide a nutritious meal (something that is fundamental to our survival) to someone less fortunate (especially children) makes me feel good.

It's soup season! This makes it easier for me to eat vegan. I recently made this easy red lentil/carrot soup: https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1016062-red-lentil-soup-with-lemon
My partner also makes an awesome long bean tempeh stir-fry over rice. Message me if you want his recipe!

Wow there are so many... when we are inside our vitamin D levels are potentially very low unless we are supplementing. Also the chances increase for someone to be overweight or obese since they wouldn't be moving around as much. It also leads to the body learning to be stagnant and increases the body being lazy and/or achy when moving around. It also affects someone being social and learning to connect and communicate verbally.

I've heard that people who live in NYC tend to have lower Vitamin D levels. I make a conscious effort to go out at least once a day even when I work remotely.
