    Nourishing Food Forest-Friendly Foods
    How did you figure out ways to remove foods that are not forest-friendly?

    Palm oil, coffee, cocoa, and meat/dairy/eggs are the biggest foods that lead to deforestation in my research, and of course what Americans like the most of. We have to be creative and more aware of where our food comes from in order to avoid feeding these main groups that lead to deforestation.

    I can be more aware in identifying small businesses owned by these more-excluded groups and make those my main choices of places to shop.

    Ways I will help to reduce the carbon footprint will be to grow my own food and to increase my composting!

    My husband and I decided to drive to NJ and NY for an anniversary trip instead of fly. I figured it would be a lot cheaper and even quicker, even though it is about a 1 hour flight. The amount of time it takes to get up, pack, go to the airport, wait, and fly.... I could just drive! It was a fun time.
